REIMS FESTIVAL OF RHYTHM AND COLORS

Kyrenia Youth Center Folk Dances Group recently participated in the Reims Festival of Rhythm and Colors which was organized under CIOFF. Our group which attended the festival held between 21-27 June, exhibited the most beautiful examples of Cypriot folklore and won acclaim from the audience.

The group which never lost its identity as a folk dances’ group in each of its performances throughout the festival was deemed worthy of and given “the best group that performs traditional dances” award.

Exhibiting Cypriot folk dances, which require a high level of tempo and performance with success, the group also adds to the visuality by changing costumes in the breaks between the dances.

VALENTIGNEY FESTIVAL

Following Reims Festival that ended on 27 June 2007, our group attended the festival of Valentigney, another festival in France and continued its performances on the stag.

Drawing attention with their warm attitude towards the people in the festival that was held between 28 June and 02 July, the group managed to gain the affection of the people of Valentigney. Our group, which bolstered the residents’ morale by the dances they performed in the homes for the children and the aged was also appreciated by the locals due to the warm-hearted contacts they had.

KYC Dayanışma Piyangosu Çekildi

Dayanışma piyangosu olarak düzenlenen Girne Gençlik Merkezinin piyangosu 19/05/2008 tarihinde çekilmiştir. Kazanan numaralar ve hediyeler aşağıdaki gibidir. Girne Gençlik Merkezi olarak bizeden desteğini ve yardımını esirgemeyen herkese teşekkürü bir borç biliriz.
