Kyrenia Youth Center Folk Dances Group recently participated in the Reims Festival of Rhythm and Colors which was organized under CIOFF. Our group which attended the festival held between 21-27 June, exhibited the most beautiful examples of Cypriot folklore and won acclaim from the audience.
The group which never lost its identity as a folk dancesÃ?? group in each of its performances throughout the festival was deemed worthy of and given Ã??the best group that performs traditional dancesÃ?? award.
Exhibiting Cypriot folk dances, which require a high level of tempo and performance with success, the group also adds to the visuality by changing costumes in the breaks between the dances.
